Skyline Eight Conference

Background: 

1938-62 except for 1944 and 1945 - Seven members dropped out of the Rocky Mountain and formed the Mountain States Intercollegiate Athletic Conference after the 1936-37 season. The Mountain States was also informally known as the Big Seven before being dubbed the Skyline Six and then Eight (after Montana and New Mexico joined in 1952). Four teams from the Skyline and two from the Border Conference formed the Western Athletic Conference in 1962.
