- Assistant coach at Xavier under Pete Gillen for eight seasons from 1985-86 through 1992-93
- Final Top 25 Rankings (five: AP/USA)--1997 (13/22), 1998 (23/NR), 2003 (8/12), 2004 (17/15) and 2005 (5/11)
- All-Americans (two): Wake Forest's Josh Howard (2003) and Chris Paul (2005).
