- Named to NAIA Basketball Hall of Fame in 1967
- Final Top 20 Rankings (four: AP/UPI)--1961 (9/12), 1962 (15/16), 1963 (NR/16) and 1969 (6/7)
- All-Americans (three): West Virginia's Rod Thorn (1962 and 1963) and Purdue's Dave Schellhase (1966) and Rick Mount (1969 and 1970).
