- Assistant coach at College of Racine (WI) under Bill Cofield for one season in 1973-74, and at Wisconsin under Cofield and Steve Yoder for eight seasons from 1976-77 through 1983-84
- Final Top 20 Rankings (seven: AP/USA)--2003 (21/T13), 2004 (10/16), 2005 (20/10), 2007 (3/T11), 2008 (6/10), 2010 (16/24) and 2011 (16/15)
- All-Americans (three): Wisconsin's Devin Harris (2004), Jordan Taylor (2011) and Alando Tucker (2007).
