- Only coach to guide three different schools to the Final Four. Reached NCAA national semifinals on five occasions--once with Providence (1987), three times with Kentucky (1993, 1996 and 1997) and once with Louisville (2005). The 1996 team won the national title and the 1997 squad finished runner-up
