Back-to-Back Years of Ugly Incidents Involving Tough-Guy UM Coach Howard

Did classless Michigan coach Juwan Howard get this fighting mad about a timeout when Wolverines teammate Chris Webber committed a mental blunder requesting one leading to a technical foul in 1993 NCAA Tournament championship contest against North Carolina? Don't think so. Not wanting to possibly offend sensibilities of The Undefeated, equally classless were ESPN (Extra Sensitive Pious Network) "proper-tone experts" Jay Bilas and Seth Greenberg tiptoeing around Howard's hubris as they conveniently overlooked comparable ugly incident from less than a year ago involving now repeat offender.

A suspension for rest of regular season hit Howard in light of similar unacceptable intimidation tactics in 2021 Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals when he was ejected after towering over another coach (ex-Maryland mentor Mark Turgeon) reportedly yelling, "I'm gonna f---king kill you." Howard, ESPN blowhards, the conference office and school's athletic department apparently learned absolutely nothing from last year's embarrassing escapade. In fact, this leader of men received a five-year contract extension and hefty raise in salary from UM's sports factory praising him for "his great character second to none." Should university rewrite that release or Big Tech will ban them for spreading misinformation? Penalty probably should have included having Turgeon serving as the Wolverines' interim coach while Howard sits and sulks with his mask on.

After another subpar performance, Howard could have acknowledged timeout probably allowed sufficient time for his son (Jace) to score a rare basket for his underachieving club (ranked sixth nationally in preseason but tied for seventh in Big Ten). Instead, he offered a feeble postgame explanation sans apology regarding Wisconsin calling a seemingly gratuitous TO with 15 seconds left. Apparently incapable of comprehending gravity of his actions, there was no word from finger-pointing Howard about what triggered his Will Smith-like bitch-slapping a Wisconsin assistant coach. Did aide say something about UM continuing to full-court press backups/walk-ons while having starter still in game down 19 in last 30 seconds or longstanding inability to control himself (number of different baby mamas or previous herpes allegations)? Was combative Chicago product expecting Wisconsin to reach out and "touch him" in manner Michigan representatives arranged at Detroit's Pontchartrain Hotel on Fraud Five (no Big Ten regular-season titles) stimulating recruiting trip in spring of 1991 apparently commencing string of baby mamas?

Perhaps tough-guy scholar's next world-class spin will be to shift gears and blame Donald Trump's mean tweets for this physical assault specifically and on our intelligence generally. In the meantime, maybe Plagiarist Bidumb, Cacklin' Kamala, Al "Not So" Sharpton, Joyless Reid and BLM activists will start raising funds if bail money is ever required for another vile incident.
