Poisoning Ivy: All-Ivy League Choices Transferring to Power Conferences
Well-endowed Harvard, which should have been more concerned about school ties to sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein, accepted admonition about rejecting millions of dollars from Small Business Administration's PPP. Meanwhile, it isn't business as usual for the Crimson and fellow Ivy League members as well-endowed PPPs (Productive Premium Players) leave their programs; especially after conference intellectuals cowered in fetal position in ivory tower corner cancelling a season because of coronavirus.
The Ivy League is recognized as the nation's most academically prestigious NCAA Division I conference. But as the previously-idealistic Ivy League accepted more athletic exemptions, including transfers from other institutions, the alliance also exponentially increased the number of prominent players leaving the Ivy to learn about playing at the highest athletic level. Last year's MVP Jordan Dingle (Penn shifting to St. John's) and three other all-conference selections last season (Yale's EJ Jarvis, Harvard's Chris Ledlum and Brown's Paxson Wojcik) joined a trend featuring All-Ivy players in the past eight years transferring to a power conference. Seth Towns, aspiring to make a last hurrah, is on the following alphabetical list of players leaving the Ivy League for a power-league member:
