- Led the nation in scoring with Canisius in 1974 before finishing 14th in 1975
- Averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds in three NCAA Tournament games with Southwestern Louisiana in 1973 (1-2 record)
- Selected as a hardship case (after junior season) by the New York Knicks in second round of 1975 NBA draft (34th pick overall).
- NOTE: Fogle did not have to sit out one season as a transfer following his freshman season at Southwestern Louisiana in 1972-73 because USL's program was banned from competing by the NCAA. He missed six games as a junior while battling injuries.
