- Guided four Wittenberg teams to the NCAA Division III Tournament national semifinals--1977 (1st), 1980 (3rd), 1983 (2nd) and 1987 (3rd)
- Won seven conference tournament championships--six with Wittenberg (Ohio University Athletic and Ohio University) and one with Ohio University University (1994 in Mid-American)
- Assistant coach at Marietta (OH) under Phil Roach for two seasons in 1971-72 and 1972-73, at Wittenberg (OH) under Bob Hamilton for three seasons from 1973-74 through 1975-76, and at North Carolina State under Herb Sendek for four seasons from 2001-02 through 2004-05.
