- Assistant coach at Southwest Missouri State under Bill Thomas for four seasons from 1968-69 through 1971-72, at Oklahoma under Joe Ramsey for one season in 1974-75, and at Nebraska under Moe Iba for two seasons in 1981-82 and 1982-83
