American Idle: Five DI Head Coaches Shed Rust and Shook Off Cobwebs

Billy Lange and John Pelphrey were in head-coaching mothballs for eight seasons until being hired to direct Saint Joseph's and Tennessee Tech, respectively. But they fall short of joining new Georgia State mentor Rob Lanier among the following list of five active head coaches serving in non-college head coaching capacities at least 10 seasons before returning to the NCAA Division I level as a bench boss:
