- Assistant coach at Weber State under Neil McCarthy and Larry Farmer for 10 seasons from 1977-78 through 1986-87, at Ball State under Rick Majerus for two seasons in 1987-88 and 1988-89, and at Utah under Majerus for four seasons from 1998-99 through 2001-02
- Coach and director of operations for Hartford and Grand Rapids in the Continental Basketball Association in 1993-94 and 1994-95, respectively
- Compiled a 26-7 record (.788) in Utah Valley's final season as a junior college in 2002-03
