Cold Hard Facts: Heinsohn Had Total of 93 Points & Rebounds in Game vs. BC

When Holy Cross All-American Tommy Heinsohn passed away last month, most observers dwelled upon his many significant achievements with the Boston Celtics. But there should have been much more than a cursory mention of him achieving status as the only player in NCAA history to collect more than 50 points and 40 rebounds in a single game against a major-college opponent (51/42 vs. Boston College in his next-to-last collegiate contest in 1955-56).
